2. FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

At Maurer Labs we process the information provided by interested parties for the following purposes:

• Contact form: To manage and respond to information requests, queries or questions received through the website contact form.
• Meeting bookings: To manage the meetings you request through the Calendly scheduler available on the website.
• Cookies: To improve user experience and analyze web traffic, as detailed in our Cookie Policy.

3. WHAT IS THE LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA?

The legal basis for processing your data is your express consent, granted by checking the corresponding acceptance box before submitting the contact form (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR).

When you book a meeting through Calendly, the legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR).

4. TO WHICH RECIPIENTS WILL YOUR DATA BE COMMUNICATED?

No data will be transferred to third parties, except legal obligation.

Your data may be processed by our service providers (Data Processors) who help us provide our services, such as:

• Vercel Inc.: Hosting provider, for website hosting.
• Web3Creative (Web3Forms service): To receive contact form messages and forward them to us by email.
• Calendly, LLC: To manage the meetings you book through our scheduler.
• Google, LLC: For Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.

5. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Some of these providers process your data outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are carried out under adequate safeguards to ensure a level of protection equivalent to European standards:

• Vercel Inc. and Calendly, LLC (United States): certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
• Google, LLC (United States): under adequate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.
• Web3Creative (India): through the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.

6. HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

Data provided through the contact form or when booking a meeting will be kept for the time strictly necessary to manage your inquiry and, subsequently, during the legally established periods for the requirement of possible liabilities.

7. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS WHEN YOU PROVIDE US WITH YOUR DATA?

Any person has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether Maurer Labs is processing personal data concerning them or not. Interested parties have the right to access their personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. In certain circumstances, interested parties may request the limitation of the processing of their data, in which case we will only keep it for the exercise or defense of claims. They may also object to the processing of their data (opposition) and request data portability.
