What exactly is a digital twin?
A digital representation of a physical asset (a vessel, a machine, a plant) connected to the data that asset produces, so that the model reflects its real state and can be used to analyze or simulate it.
Do we need sensors installed before we start?
No. You can start from the 3D model and the data that already exists in your systems (ERP, maintenance, spreadsheets) and add sensors once the architecture is validated.
Can the digital twin be viewed from the browser?
Yes. We build the 3D interfaces for the web, with the same technology our configurators and viewers use, and also on-premise when the data cannot leave the company.
What does the cost of a digital twin depend on?
On the number and type of data sources, the state of the 3D models, the integrations with existing systems and the scope of the first phase. That is why we work in phases, with a bounded first delivery.
