Visualization to sell before building

What have you already done for the maritime sector?
The Kumbra Yachts 3D yacht configurator and its virtual reality version, hyperrealistic yacht renders and 3D modeling of ship hardware, and an article on sensor integration in the naval industry. We exhibit at Navalia (2024 and 2026) and have been at the Valencia Boat Show.
Do you make ship design or naval architecture CAD software?
No. We do not build naval architecture or hull design CAD; tools such as Rhino or NAPA do that, and we work on top of the models they produce. Our work starts after the design: configurators to sell the vessel, virtual reality and renders to show it before it is built, and digital twins to operate it.
How do you show a boat that does not exist yet?
With its 3D models: hyperrealistic renders for the catalog and the website, the configurator so the customer picks hull, finishes and equipment, and virtual reality to step aboard at real scale, on the web and at the stand. That is how the Kumbra Yachts Studio sells today.
Does a yacht configurator run on the shipyard's website?
Yes. The Kumbra Yachts configurator is a real-time web application that can be linked or embedded in the brand's website, with nothing for the customer to install.
Can you work with our naval CAD models?
Yes. We convert and optimize CAD models and heavy meshes to web formats with clean topology, as we did with the ship hardware, keeping the detail each use needs.
What does a digital twin of a vessel need?
Three things: a 3D model of the vessel (the shipyard's CAD, optimized, will do), the data sources (sensors, on-board systems, maintenance) and the decision you want to make with them.
