The challenge
A yacht is sold and approved long before it exists: the shipyard, the owner and the designer need to see the hull under way, the saloon with its furniture and even a door handle with a realism that drawings cannot give. Photographing what is not yet built is not an option.
The solution
Maurer Labs builds every scene in 3D from the project's real geometry and lights it like a photo shoot: exteriors under way or in a studio setting, interiors with the joinery and furniture in detail, and close-ups of hardware. The images in this gallery are renders, not photographs.
